Cambodia welcomes fully vaccinated domestic and foreign travelers to enter the country without quarantine,

As a move to welcome tourists back to the country, today Cambodia has made a great move, Prime Minister Hun Sen announced on the fully reopening of country to all visitors who have fully vaccinated “two shots”, to enter the Kingdom with an instant step by undertaking a rapid test only after arrival at the airports, and if they found negatively they can check into their hotels or return to their homes immediately.

“The rapid antigen tests to detect Covid-19 will be applied for fully vaccinated people but the unvaccinated ones must take both rapid and PCR tests,” he said.

However, for fully-vaccinated tourists, locals or foreigners must have confirmed Covid-free certificates in 72 hours and upon arrival, they will have a screening,” rapid test”. Noting that the  measures will take effect as of November 15th onward.

Travelers and tourists are now can enjoy travel and visit any destination within the Kingdom as there is no longer any need to wait for a PCR test or a three days wait at home or hotel for the results of a PCR test after the announcement comes into effective on Monday, November 15th, 2021.

Arrival tourists who have not been fully vaccinated still need to undergo a PCR test and need to be quarantined for 14 days and tested again before being released, and they will have to cover the cost for PCR test at USD 100.- plus USD 30.- certification.

The most important guidelines of the Health Ministry are summed up in the national slogan, “3 Do’s and 3 Don’ts”.
The “Do’s” are: do wear a mask, do wash hands regularly (and use hand sanitiser) and do social distancing of 1.5 metres.
